Kristen Albright – President and founder of Create for Our Children. Kristen brings with her a life-long love of working with and for children. As an education major, working with children for the last ten years in a variety of settings, as well as having two young children of her own, it is with the children that her heart truly lies. In addition to working with children, Kristen has also run her own bookkeeping / accounting business for the last six years. The experience of running a business has given Kristen the understanding of how to manage, organize, and expand ideas and the organizations that are behind them. Kristen’s desire to start Create for Our Children came out of a place of deep gratitude and passion, wanting to give back to the children of the world so much of what she and her own children had been given. It is this feeling of gratitude and passion, along with a profound sense of purpose and dedication, which is the fire behind Create for Our Children. Kristen believes in real and lasting change and that it only takes a small group of people with an abundance of compassion and heart to make a very large difference in the world. She believes Create for Our Children will bring hope, joy, love, and opportunity to children on a global level, for generations to come.

Elizabeth Belts Kauffman – Board member of Create for Our Children. Elizabeth Belts Kauffman brings her incredible talent in both creative design and communications to Create for Our Children. Elizabeth adds a unique blend of professional marketing and vision to the organization as a result of her years working in advertising, marketing, and production. She has a passion for making a positive difference in the world and feels that through both raising funds and awareness of children in need, Create for Our Children will be a major vehicle for that change. Elizabeth and her husband have traveled throughout the world, and are particularly sensitive to the impacts we are having on our children at an environmental level. Elizabeth believes that every child has the right to grow in a world with clean water, air, and fertile soil as she believes we are truly one with our planet and all that resides within and upon it. She believes the health of our children depends on the health of our planet and therefore feels creating a healthy living environment for children is imperative to Create for Our Children’s mission. Create for Our Children has grown and continues to grow tremendously as a result of her deep dedication and strong ambition.

Shayne Vinagre – Board member of Create for Our Children. Whether a board member or not, Shayne has always been an advocate for and dedicated to the children. She and her husband travel the world extensively and everywhere they go Shayne finds some way in which she can make a positive impact during their stay. She is particularly sensitive to the struggles as well as the fortitude of our neighbors in the southern hemisphere. She is constantly bringing to light and sharing their stories through travel journals and emails. While they are not traveling, Shayne and her husband manage a resort located on Orcas Island. She is passionate about bringing the world together in one unified force and truly believes the way in which to that is to begin with our children. Shayne literally infuses Create for Our Children with both deep compassion and love.
